Dr. Lorenzo Nichols

EXPERIENCED & DEDICATED

Therapeutic Optometrist

Dr. Lorenzo Nichols is a VA residency-trained therapeutic optometrist. He was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Las Vegas heat encouraged him to travel the world at a young age. He studied abroad in Central and South America, served in the Air National Guard, and conducted biomedical research on sight threatening diseases at NEI (National Eye Institute) in Bethesda, Maryland.

Professional opportunities brought him to San Antonio, Texas where he has been serving his community for the past several years. His travels granted him the opportunity to learn Spanish and appreciate the intrinsic value of cultural diversity.

As a blessed and grateful practice owner, Dr. Nichols strives to deliver his best when caring for his patients and assisting them in their ocular needs. He also takes pride in treating everyone with the utmost respect and giving his patients his undivided attention.

• 2014 Primary Eye Care and Ocular Disease residency: Northeastern State University, Oklahoma College of Optometry and Amarillo Veterans Affairs Medical Center
• 2013 Doctorate of Optometry: Inter American University of Puerto Rico, School of Optometry
• 2007 Bachelor of Science, Biology: University of Nevada Las Vegas
